How Does Early Direct Deposit Work?

When your employer submits your payroll information, USPS FCU processes the deposit immediately, allowing you to access your funds ahead of the standard payday. This gives you more control over your cash flow and the ability to manage bills, savings, and other financial priorities.

*Early availability of direct deposit is not guaranteed and may vary from deposit to deposit. Please check your available balance using the Virtual Branch online banking portal or the mobile app before making or scheduling any payments reliant on the funds. Your eligible direct deposits are available up to two business days early.  Early Direct Deposit postings are dependent on when the deposits are received from your employer or other sender. You cannot opt out of Early Direct Deposit.
