Join the Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors lead the direction of the Credit Union ensuring that the Credit Union remains focused on serving our members and meeting the needs of the communities we serve.

Eligibility is Simple!

Members must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years as of the date of application and be a member in good standing, defined as follows:

  • Has been a member in good standing for two years or more.
  • $10 minimum balance in savings.
  • No delinquent loans.
  • Has never caused loss to the Credit Union.

The time commitment: 

The Board of Directors meets, at minimum, once time per month.  Meetings are hosted virtually, typically last two hours, and occur on the last Wednesday of the month at 4:15pm EST.   Some training is required, and is provided at no cost.

Easy Process

Let us know if you are interested by submitting a statement of interest to Jennifer Baker at j.baker@uspsfcu.org. Your statement should include your name, current contact information, how long you’ve been a member, and brief statement telling us about your professional experience and why you would like to join the Board of Directors.  Interested members meeting eligibility requirements will be contacted by Credit Union staff.

Additional Skills & Abilitiies

  • Ability to access a computer or smartphone to evaluate USPS FCU services.
  • Experience with banking online or in USPS FCU branch locations.
  • Experience using a variety of USPS FCU products and services.
