ATTENTION VISA Credit Card Mobile App Users
To continue managing your USPS FCU VISA credit card securely and without interruption, all members must update their Digital Card Management app to version R45 or newer by August 26, 2025.
Why This Matters
For security reasons, older versions of the app will be permanently removed from our system after business hours on August 25, 2025. Beginning August 26, 2025, members using an outdated version will no longer be able to access the app.
What You Need to Do
Check your version: The version number is displayed at the bottom of the app login screen.
Update the app: Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the latest version.
Turn on automatic updates: We recommend enabling automatic app updates on your device to ensure you always have the most secure and up-to-date version.
What Happens If You Don’t Update
If your app is not updated to version R45 or newer before August 26, 2025, the app will not open and you will lose all access to Digital Card Management features for your USPS FCU VISA credit card. Please note that there will be no in-app message directing you to update, which may cause confusion.
Our Recommendation
To avoid service disruption, please update your app as soon as possible. Enabling automatic updates will help ensure you never miss a critical upgrade in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why will cardholders experience issues if they are not on v45 or greater? Cardholders must update their applications to version 45 or greater by August 25, 2025; after business hours on August 25, Digital Card Management will purge versions older than v45 from all Digital Card Management Mobile network servers; this is a critical and time-sensitive measure that our teams must execute to ensure and preserve the integrity and security of the Mobile application and Velera’s digital experience at large.
How do I determine if my app is on a version later than 45? The best place to confirm your app is on the latest version is in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching for the app by name and looking under the “App info: Current Version”.
How can users identify what version of the app they’re on? It can be viewed at the bottom of the app login screen when the app is opened.
What does the experience look like to those who do not update their application before the August 26 deadline? If the user selects the Digital Card Management app icon without first updating to version 45 or greater after August 25, the application will not open or respond to the user’s selection. There will not be any messaging to direct the end user to update the app via the App/Play Store.
