Leadership

Mr. McCartney, a member of the Credit Union since 1981, served on the Board of Directors since 1996 and as Chairman for over 10 years. His last responsibilities before retiring included reporting on major capital investments to senior management and the Board of Governors. He earned a BS in Accounting and MPA and has over 30 years’ experience in various positions in finance with the US Postal Service.

Mr. Ford has been a member since 1990 and served on the Board for the past 20 years. He has served as Vice Chairman, Secretary Treasurer, HR Director, and Strategic Planning Director. His Postal Career includes working on national programs from a financial perspective. Mr. Ford holds a BS from Florida A&M University and an MBA in Accounting from LaSalle University.

Mr. Dale has been a member of the USPS FCU since 1984, served on the Supervisory Committee for eight years, and has been on the Board for 11 years. He served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Board and has served three years on the Board of the American Bowling Congress. He retired after 42 years as an accountant in the USPS Headquarters Finance Group in 2008. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Alaska, Juneau.

Mr. Gatewood has been a member of the Credit Union since 1980. He has served on the Board as Chairman, Vice Chairman, Director of Operations/Technology and the Supervisory Committee for two years prior to being elected to the Board in 1991. He is a former Postmaster and retired Financial Systems Specialist, EAS-25, with the Postal Service in Revenue Assurance with 37 years of service. He graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Accounting and has extensive credits in an Administrative Science Master’s Program at GW University.

Ms. Lewis has been a member since 2005. Currently, she is a Senior Field Accountant in finance. Her Postal career began providing administrative support to various managers and staff. Her responsibilities include accounting policy review, policy revision, and project management. While working for the Postal Service, she completed her BS degree in Business Administration from Trinity Washington University in 2014.

Mr. Yessian began his voluntary career with U.S. Postal Service Federal Credit Union over 30 years ago.  Over the decades Mr. Yessian has served in many positions on both the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Committee.  In 2024 Mr. Yessian formally announced his retirement as an active Board Member.  He currently serves as the Credit Union’s first Board Director Emeritus where he will continue to provide valuable counsel to the Board of Directors and the Credit Union Leadership Team.

Mr. Hayden, a member since 2016, served on the Supervisory Committee from 2018. He has spent the majority of his career within the financial services industry. He is currently Chief Financial Officer of Curiosity Stream, Inc., a publicly traded media company. As a CPA , he has participated in the review of the CU’s internal controls and external audit reports. Mr. Hayden has an MBA from the University of Rochester School of Business and a BS from Lipscomb University.

Mr. Rosato became a member in 2012. He is currently employed at the U.S. Postal Service as the Assistant Secretary of the Board of Governors. He has also served as a corporate law attorney in the U.S. Postal Service’s Law Department. Mr. Rosato holds a B.A. from the University of Richmond and a JD/MBA from the University of Connecticut. He is also the author of a published article examining the relationship between banking regulations and the 2007 financial crisis. He will actively seek out your concerns and work diligently to ensure USPS FCU’s continued success.

Mr. McCullough, a USPS FCU member since 1988, has held various credit union leadership roles, including Chairman and Marketing Director. His expertise spans the nonprofit and government sectors, including work with Harvard, NBPTS, and the US Postal Service. As an accomplished attorney and advocate for social justice, he established CoMcCo LLC, leading nonprofits to achieve their goals. Serving on various boards and government commissions, he is currently a lead arbitrator for the DC Bar, mediator for the DC Superior Court, and member of the Arlington Law Enforcement Community Oversight Board. McCullough holds a BA from Pepperdine University and a JD/MA from Boston College.
